It all started when…

Three years ago, when I stepped into Ellen’s beautiful shop and studio, I carried a collection of my hats specially curated for Colors of Ellen in Deventer. As our designs mingled, the alchemy of our connection was palpable. Ellen's masterful manipulation of color and form, woven into her hand-painted silk textiles, stirred within me a newfound inspiration. A year ago, we started a joint project in which I added Ellen’s hand-painted silks to my hats. A brand new collection of hats was born from this exciting collaboration.

This collection is more than just a series of beautiful hats. It's the embodiment of a journey - a journey of two artists coming together, learning from each other, and creating something that neither could have achieved alone.
